One of the most expensive defenders in Premier League history has chosen the best in questioning with ‘TALKSPORT' and in his answers, he never once mentioned the names of Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi.
The Liverpool central defender has become one of the best in the world.
Van Dijk has won the Champions League with the Reds and hopes to continue winning titles under Jurgen Klopp.
The defender dared to make a questionnaire in which he answered questions, such as who is the best player in history, the most feared striker and his best moment.
“I would say the best player I have played with is Firmino and the best player of all time is Ronaldinho because he was one of my idols,” he said.
If he had to choose coaches, Van Dijk stays loyal to Klopp and Ronald Koeman, whilst he says the best team he has played for is Liverpool.
“The most feared striker is ‘Kun' and the best Dutch player is Marco van Basten”, he concludes.
