The 24 year old joined the Partenopei for a club record fee of €70m in July 2020, with an annual salary of €5.45. However, with this new contract, Osimhen is expected to earn about €10m a year after taxes. Also, Victor Osimhen's new contract will keep him at the club until the summer of 2026.
Although Napoli would like to put an end to all the Osimhen transfer speculation, some clubs are expectedly to make a bid for the Super Eagles star in the January transfer window.
Clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham and Newcastle have been keeping tabs on Osimhen, over the past few months due to his impressive performances for the Partenopei.
The 24 year old became the first African player to be voted Serie A player of the year after he fired the club to their first league title in over three decades. He was also named Africa's best player of the year ahead of players like Mohamed Salah and Kudus.

Bearing that in mind, some teams will likely try to purchase Osimhen during the winter transfer window, but they'll need to break the bank for that. The former Wolfsburg player reportedly has a €130m release clause; and considering Napoli aren't eager to part ways with their prized forward, other teams will need to activate that release clause if they intend to lure Osimhen from the Italian outfit.
