Wilfred Ndidi had a humble beginning like many Nigeria Super Eagles players. He was born in Lagos, Nigeria to parents from Delta State, Nigeria.
Their village or hometown is unknown but due to his first language being Igbo, it can be inferred that the Ndidi family is from a village in one of five regions including Anioma, Ibuzor, Ukwuani and Oshimili.
