Kano Pillars winger Yusuf Abdullahi put up the most single-man-show of the gameweek.

Sai Masu Gida ran riot at the Pantami Stadium as they humiliated Gombe United 5-2 with all 5 goals scored by Abdullahi, 4 in the first-half and one more during the second half to end up as the best player during the gameweek.

The seven-goal thriller recorded in Gombe was a spectacular event as Abdullahi became the first player after Emem Eduok to score five or more goals in a single game.

The brilliant 18-year-old also ensured that the result became the second-most scoring game this season in the NPFL.

Robert Mizo

Bayelsa United frontman Robert Mizo steered his side back to earn a point after going two-goals down in their game against Abia Warriors on Sunday evening.

Mizo scored twice to ensure Bayelsa United avoided defeat at home to the visitors who were coasting to victory. Mizo scored twice in the last ten minutes of the hostilities to break the hearts of the visiting Warriors.

While Mizo is having a good NPFL campaign, having scored 9 goals in 11 games, his team are struggling to win games with just 10 points obtained after 11 NPFL fixtures, keeping Bayelsa United 19th on the NPFL table.

Alimi Sikiru

The NPFL top goal scorer capitalized on a defensive error in the 61st minute of their game against Plateau United in Ikenne to net his 9th league goal of the season.

The slim 1-0 win ensured that The Sky Blue Stars leapfrogged Doma United to the top of the NPFL table with 22 points after 11 league outings.

Kingdom Osayi

The safest gloves in the NPFL was again in brilliant form as Doma United kept yet another clean sheet in the NPFL. Osayi made six saves in Doma United's 1-0 win over Niger Tornadoes on Saturday to ensure his team extended their unbeaten run to seven games.

With that result, Doma United remained second on the NPFL table with 21 points after 11 league skirmishes.

Junior Osaghae

Junior Osaghae came through for Bendel Insurance in their game against third-place Lobi Stars at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin on Saturday.

Osaghae netted what seemed to be the only goal of the game as his ten minutes display on the field of play ensured he picked up the Man of the Match award in a tightly contested affair which looked like a draw in the making.

The Insurance forward scored on the stroke of 90 minutes for Monday Adigie's side to ensure Lobi Stars went home empty-handed after putting on a brave display all game.
