Report: Bobby Adekanye Agrees Triple-His-Wages Deal In Summer Exit

Bobby Adekanye has reached a verbal agreement to move to Serie A side Lazio this summer, according to Football Insider.

According to the outlet, the Young Liverpool attacker has accepted terms on a five year £17,000-per-week deal with Simone Inzaghi’s side, with his Reds contract due to expire at the end of the season.

The terms on offer would triple his current salary at Anfield, where he has been frozen out of the youth set-up amid his current contract stalemate.

However, the 20-year-old now appears set to join the Italian heavyweights in a few months’ time.

This is a move that has been brewing for some time now. Adekanye obviously wants to leave, despite Liverpool trying their best to keep hold of him.

There is little or nothing you can do with these young players; when they’ve made their minds up that’s all there is to it.

The long term deal would triple his current wages so obviously, he’s going to say yes to that.

In addition, he sees himself having a better chance of regular first-team football with Lazio than with Liverpool.
