AFL: A partnership between CAF and FIFA
The AFL is the result of a collaborative effort between the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and FIFA.
This new league is set to feature eight of Africa's most renowned and successful football teams, hailing from three distinct regional blocks: the North Region, Central-West Region, and South-East Region
Diverse representations from across Africa
In the North Region, the formidable Egyptian team Al Ahly Football Club, Tunisia's Espérance Sportive de Tunis, and Morocco's Wydad Athletic Club are set to compete.
From the Central-West Region, Nigeria's Enyimba Football Club and the Democratic Republic of Congo's Tout Puissant Mazembe will be vying for glory.
