Victor Osimhen’s representative, Osita Okolo , says the forward’s decision to reject a move to Serie A club Napoli has to do with his personal and professional life.
Okolo also denied reports that the Lille forward is waiting on a move to Premier League clubs, Manchester United and Arsenal.
“He (Osimhen) is not waiting for calls from English clubs. The story of the Premier is a huge lie! It is his personal decision, which concerns his private and professional life,” Okolo told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“Today there will be a meeting with his entourage and he will soon make his decision known. ”
The 21-year-old has been pursued by Napoli for months now.
Osimhen met boss Genarro Gattuso last week and was even invited to club president Aurelio De Laurentiis’ home on the island of Capri.
Victor Osimhen linked up with Lille last summer from Belgian Pro League club Sporting Charleroi and has quickly emerged as one of Europe’s top prospects after a stellar debut campaign in Ligue 1.

He scoresd 18 goals in just 38 games for Lille in the 2019/20 season, while laying on six assists.
