How many goals has Asisat Oshoala scored for Barcelona Femeni
Asisat Oshoala goals this season are just the tip of the iceberg that the Super Falcons striker will leave in the ocean of Barcelona when she finally leaves the club.
The 2023 African Player of the Year’s star has been at Barcelona Femeni since 2019 after spending two seasons at Dalian Quanjian FC.
Oshoala has been largely successful with the Spanish giants and she could get more goals and trophies this season. The 29-year-old had another successful campaign with Barcelona last season, winning the league title, Champions League, and Super Cup – the first womens’ treble in Spanish history. That also made Barcelona the only team to have trebles won by their male and female teams.
She has won twelve trophies in total with the Blaugrana: Four league titles, Three Supercopa de Espana Femenina, Three Copa de la Reina, and Two Women's Champions League titles.
The Nigeria international has scored 97 goals in her Barcelona career and she is the highest-scoring foreigner in the club’s history.
Oshoala has scored 20+ goals across her four previous seasons with Barcelona Femeni and it remains to be seen whether she can repeat that feat this term with the Spanish giants.
She is on the right track at the moment and many Nigerians and Super Falcons supporters will be hoping she can stay injury-free for an extended period.
