Chelsea are getting ready a move for Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, according to reports.
The Serbian forward has made a remarkable start to the 2018/19 Premier League season.
Mitrovic sealed a permanent move to Craven Cottage over the summer after starring on-loan from Newcastle last season.
The Serbian forward has four goals in his opening five Premier League games for the Whites and, according to the Mirror, the 23-year-old’s performances have caught the eye of Chelsea.
Mitrovic may possibly provide competition for out-of-sorts Alvaro Morata, who was dropped for Saturday’s 4-1 victory over Cardiff.
Olivier Giroud took his place and impressed, but the Frenchman turns 32 at the end of September.
The Blues are understood to be monitoring Mitrovic as a probable long-term solution up top.
