Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze has been spotted on crutches after successful surgery on the quadriceps of his left leg.
The 22-year-old suffered an injury blow during the Yellow Submarine’s UEFA Europa League semifinal second leg clash against Arsenal on May 6.
After going under the knife six days ago, the 2015 FIFA Under-17 Gold medalist took to his verified Instagram handle, giving an update on his journey to recovering.
Chukwueze hinted that he has left the hospital for his comfort zone with the help of recommended crutches.
“Happy weekend,” the embittered footballer wrote from an undisclosed location while displaying his latest health condition.
The left-footed star was instrumental for his Spanish Club during the just concluded Laliga campaign.
