Brazilian icon Ronaldinho has recently been released from jail in Paraguay after he entered the country with a doctored passport.
After spending 32 days in prison in South America, On April 7, Ronaldinho was released on bail, however, he has been restricted to being on house arrest at the Hotel Palma Roga in Asuncion.
The Brazilian needed to post $1.6 million in bail to leave prison.
Rumours have swirled on social media that Ronaldinho’s former Barcelona team mate Lionel Messi may have posted bail for the Brazilian.
However, in an update on his Instagram Stories, Messi has confirmed that the Ronaldinho bail story is fake news.
Meanwhile, there is another rumour doing the rounds recently which has to do with claims Messi could leave Barcelona to join Inter Milan.
Messi’s contract at the Camp Nou expires at the end of the 2020-21 season.
The Argentine clearly has other ideas, as he’s confirmed the Inter story is a “lie”.
Both the Ronaldinho bail and Inter Milan transfer stories were shared by Argentine outlet TNT Sports online.
