Ghana Black Queens vs Rwanda predictions
The Ghana women's team are heads and shoulders above their opponents. While we expect a one-sided game, we fancy lots of goals. Here are our three predictions for the game.
Prediction 1: Ghana Black Queens to Win Both Halves
Nora Huptle's side are coming into this game on the back of a comprehensive win over the Rwandans in the first leg where they won in both halves of the clash. We're backing the return leg to follow a similar pattern with the Black Queens being on top on both halves.
Prediction 2: Ghana Black Queens to Score At Least Three First Half Goals
Nora's team breached the Rwandans three times in the first half of the first leg despite playing away. With the second leg at home, the Ghanaian women will play with more intensity and confidence with the home support fully behind them. The players will look to entertain the fans and they will do so in scoring as much as they can even as the floodgate is expected to open right from the first half.
Prediction 3: Over 4.5 Total Goals
With a remarkable 21 goals scored and none conceded in the last six matches of the Ghana Black Queens, Nora Huptle has done an outstanding job with the women's team. They will be looking to produce a similar result knowing if they can put seven past Rwanda away at the Kigali Pele Stadium, they can do better than that at home. Another advantage is that the coach of Rwanda, Grace Nyinawumuntu, won't be available to guide her team as she has been suspended ahead of this return leg.
Ghana Black Queens vs Rwanda Head-to-Head
This clash will be the second time both teams square off. The head-to-head record is in favour of Ghana who have one win.
Ghana Black Queens recent form
Since losing to Morocco in a 2022 friendly, the Ghana women's team have gone on to string six consecutive victories in their last six games, scoring 21 goals and conceding none in that stretch.
Rwanda recent form
The Rwanda women's team have not had the best of results in their last matches. They've been winless in five games ahead of their clash with Ghana; with three loses and two draws. The last victory for the side came in a 2022 friendly against Djibouti where they won 2-0.
