Ighalo Ends Al Shabab’s Season With Brace

Former Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo inspired Al Shabab with a brace as they defeat Al Wehda 3-0 in the final game of the season in the Saudi topflight.

The 31-year-old, who joined Saudi Professional League club side on a two-and-a-half-year contract in February, ends the season in style.

Ighalo finished the season playing 13 matches, scoring 9 and providing 3 assists for his Saudi Arabian outfit.

The former Manchester United forward is one of the most successful Nigerian footballers for what he has been able to achieve since he started his football career.

In a video clip, his mother was seen celebrating his goal at the stands telling her son that she is impressed.

The former Nigerian international expressed happiness that his mother was able to make it to the stadium for the first time.
