The maiden Lagos City Cup 2023 event kicked off on Saturday, 1 July, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos State.
It is a one-of-a-kind four-day tournament aimed at discovering new talent to be signed and further their football careers in Spain.

A total of 19 goals were scored on Matchday 1 with impressive performances that thrilled the scouts sent from FC Barcelona and Atletic Sant Just.

Some players have started showcasing what they're capable of, scoring brilliant goals and putting in impressive performances, drawing praise from Nigerian football fans who watched the games.
