Lampard Replies Managers Targeting His Job At Chelsea

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has tried (and is still trying) all there is to ignore rumours regarding his potential successor at Stamford Bridge as he tries to turn the club’s season around quickly.

While each of Thomas Tuchel, Julian Nagelsmann and Massimiliano Allegri have been linked to the job among others, Lampard is wants to succeed by all means necessary.

When asked about other managers being linked to his role, he said: ”I ignore them. I only do my job.

“The pressure is fine, it comes with the territory. There are teams having problems now that were not, I just have to get on with the job.

“My concern is not the pressure on me, I understand how it goes.

“The pressure needs to be positive on the players. I don't mind taking it. The players want to get some form back.”
