Chelsea suffered a potential huge injury blow during their 1-0 loss to Newcastle United on Saturday evening.
Reece James – fresh off signing a new five-year contract with Chelsea – had to limp off during the closing stages at St James' Park and that's a real concern for Frank Lampard.
All eyes will be on James and whether or not he will be fit for Tuesday night's big London derby against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge?
It's not just the right-back who is a doubt for the game.
Here is what’s latest from the treatment room at Cobham.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek
In the post-season friendly ahead of the Europa League final, Loftus-Cheek suffered the same injury as Hudson-Odoi as he ruptured his Achilles' tendon.
Loftus-Cheek is working towards a return as soon as possible and has been keeping fans updated with his progress.
“It’s going well!” he told Versus earlier in the season when asked about his recovery.
Lampard, however, confirmed that the recovery is not going as fast as the club would have hoped. Loftus-Cheek has since posted an encouraging update on social media, showing him doing work outside as he again steps up his recovery.
There is still no set return date for the England international, although Lampard has given a further update.
“He is training now with the Under-16s,” Lampard said. “He’ll train with the Under18s, progressing to the Under23s in a pretty short space of time. The sooner that he can be back with us training, the better.
Christian Pulisic
Christian Pulisic missed Chelsea's routine 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup third round because of an unspecified injury sustained in training.
Frank Lampard confirmed the issue to the club's in-house TV channel but did not specify what the injury was or the severity.
The Chelsea boss gave more information in his pre-match press conference: “Christian Pulisic is out and he will be out for a few weeks,” he said.
“He was injured in training last Friday, that was the Saturday before Nottingham Forest. That is an injury in adductor. So he has a tendon injury. It is disappointing for us and we will have to see how quickly he recovers because it is quite a nasty injury. “
The player himself has given a positive injury update.
“It's been almost a week, and I'm just kind of taking it day by day,” Pulisic told ESPN. “I'm just rehabbing every day. I'm doing my best to be back in the next week, the next couple weeks.
Marcos Alonso
The left-back was another player who was left out of the matchday squad for the match against Arsenal.
Alonso did not make the squad for the game with Forest, while also missing out on the clash with Burnley as well as Newcastle. He will be hoping to be back in contention for the game against Arsenal.
Marco van Ginkel
The midfielder is a long term absentee, as he continues his rehabilitation following an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
The Dutchman is on the way to recovery, having confirmed on social media that he has now returned to training.
“After more than a year, finally back on the pitch,” he wrote.
As mentioned earlier, James limped off in the closing stages and Lampard couldn't provide a definitive update.

Meanwhile, Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham's substitution in the second half are for tactical reasons rather than injury-related.
