Pep Guardiola and his me will further have been buoyed by the win over PSG, which confirmed their place in the UEFA Champions League final.
And joining City in the grand finale in Istanbul later this month will be Chelsea, who eased past Real Madrid to set up the date with their rivals.
Thomas Tuchel’s side are starting to show better pedigree in attack with every passing game, as has been seen in the recent wins over Fulham and Real Madrid.
