Mikel Obi, P-Square Hail Chelsea On Champions League Title

Super Eagles’ one-time captain, John Mikel Obi, has congratulated his former side, Chelsea FC, on their Champions League win at Estádio do Dragão on Saturday night.

The Blues won their second Champions League trophy after beating Manchester City by a lone goal from Kai Havertz.

Mikel had a 13-years stint at Chelsea, winning numerous titles, including the club’s first Champions League trophy in 2012.

The ex-Middlesbrough midfielder sealed his status as a Chelsea legend after he gave a man of the match display against Bayern Munich to help the Blues win their first major European trophy on that emotional night at the Allianz Arena.

Chelsea’s class of 2021 have now replicated the success of the 2012 squad, and Mikel wasted no time in sending his congratulations to the Blues new heroes.

The Stoke City star took to his Instagram page to congratulate the team shortly after beating City in an exciting final.
