The Super Eagles of Nigeria will open their Group C campaign against Liberia in a West African derby on Friday evening in Surulere, Lagos.
Gernot Rohr’s Super Eagles and Peter Butler’s Lone Star men are both looking for the top spot in the group that would secure their ticket to the final round of the CAF qualification process for the 2022 Qatar World Cup next year.
The other sides in Group C, Central African Republic and Cape Verde opened proceedings with a 1-1 draw this week with the Super Eagles very much the favourites to advance.
Nigeria vs Liberia game will be staged at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria with 5,000 fans set to be allowed to watch.
