Niger Tornadoes have organized three test matches against local sides ahead of their Nigeria Professional Football League match-day 25 match against Lobi Stars next Wednesday at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna.
The Ikon Allah boys will travel to Lapai to trade tackle with Ibrahim Babangida1 University team at their sports playing ground on Wednesday.
On Friday, Tornadoes will host NNL side, KK United at theBako Kontagora Stadium.
Their final warm-up game will be against John Ukata Football Academy in Minna on Saturday.
Acting technical adviser of the club , Hamza Abara, stated that the management lined up the friendlies to put the team in proper shape ahead of resumption of the league.
“The main reason for this friendly matches is to get the lads back to shape and get ready for the clash against the league leaders Lobi Stars,” Abara told the club’s official website.
“It also an avenue for the team to perfect the tactics we have been working on during the World cup break.
“Apart from hosting Lobi Stars here in Minna, we are also looking forward to the match against Heartland which we are taking with all seriousness.”
Niger Tornadoes currently occupy the 6th position on the table with 37 points from 24 matches.
