Real Madrid to Spend half of €500m transfer budget on Salah or Mane

Liverpool will resist any approach for Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane as Real Madrid dole out half their transfer budget for one of the pair.

Reports say Real Madrid are ready to blow €500 million in this transfer window as they are desperate to get one of the top Liverpool pair of Salah and Mane.

Real Madrid budget size was disclosed this week as they look to return to challenging in Europe and La Liga.

Re-appointing Zinedine Zidane was the first step and they’ve loaded the Frenchman with a huge transfer budget to restock an attacking line that has struggled after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Rumours of a move for Mohamed Salah have returned in the press as Spanish media outlet AS has been trying to create stories of conflict between Salah and Klopp which resulted in Salah’s agent saying they are speaking out of their ‘as’.

Also, there are Spanish media stories to suggest Sadio Mane is also a target for Real. That led to the Senegalese striker restating his desire to be a Liverpool and Premier League legend in stark contrast to Eden Hazard of Chelsea who seems to be actively courting the interest from the Spanish capital.

Liverpool have been clear that they have no plan on selling stars. The only way a top player will leave is if he jostles for the move himself as Philippe Coutinho did.
