Revealed! How Much Abramovich Will Pay Lampard If He Decides To Sack

There have been calls for Frank Lampard’s sacking among Chelsea faithful, with reports emerging of the club starting to look elsewhere.

According to The Sun, the Blues boss would still be taking something hefty home from his stint at Stamford Bridge.

Lampard has 18 months left on his current Chelsea deal, which sees him receive £77,000 per week.

And this would mean there is still £3million left, which Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich would have to pay out.

While it would leave a bitter taste in the manager’s mouth, it would also leave the Russian’s wallet feeling a lot lighter.

The run of poor form has put the manager's position under pressure, with Abramovich spending £110.5million on sacking 10 of the 11 previous bosses

The owner had seen 11 managers take the helm at Stamford Bridge and leave it since buying the club from Ken Bates in 2003.

But only one of them has been able to leave on their own terms.

The biggest single fee went to Antonio Conte as Chelsea had to pay £9m in compensation, which rose to £26.6m when his backroom staff were also cut.

This makes a total expenditure of £110.5m on sacking managers by Abramovich, which wouldd rise to £113.5m if Lampard is shown the door.
