Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Paul Pogba should be available for Manchester United when football finally returns.
And Red Devils’ fans can't wait to see the Frenchman finally play alongside Bruno Fernandes after a long-awaited return from injury.
Pogba last started a game for United eight months ago.
“I definitely think so,” Solskjaer replied when asked by Sky Sports if Pogba would be fit to play. “Paul's had a difficult season with injuries, he's said that himself. Of course Marcus as well is getting back, so for them two this gives them a chance to start on a par or even ahead of other players, if and when we get going.
“But they've been focused. Mentally it's maybe easier for them to train harder now because they can see the light at the end of the tunnel.”
Pogba's return opens up the possibility of him lining up in midfield with Fernandes for the first time, after the Portuguese's arrival at the club in January.
Fernandes is already a firm favourite amongst supporters, thanks to his three goals and four assists in nine appearances, and is yet to suffer a defeat with the club, which makes it no surprise that fans can't wait to see how he plays with Pogba.

Solskjaer has said there is no reason why Fernandes and Pogba can't play alongside each other, despite the number of options he already has in midfield.
