Lille striker Victor Osimhen has been linked with a host of big clubs after bagging 17 goals in 35 games to put scouts around Europe on red-alert.
Manchester United have been strongly linked with the Super Eagles star by reports in France with Liverpool, Barcelona, Arsenal and Tottenham amongst a growing list of reported admirers.
The 21-year-old has had a big move before, leaving the Ultimate Strikers Academy in Nigeria for Bundesliga side Wolfsburg amid a host of interest in 2017.
The then-teenager rejected the Gunners in the £3million move, explaining his desire to play first-team football upon completing his transfer.
Following the move, he said: “There were many clubs that were interested in me.
“But my choice was Wolfsburg because I think that my development opportunities are highest here.
“If I had gone to Arsenal, for example, I might not have found the route to the first team so quickly.”
Since taking the plunge to Lille last summer he has impressed, giving him another opportunity at a major move with big clubs again sniffing around.
It remains to be seen whether he will have changed his approach and may now feel ready to battle for first-team football immediately at a top club.
