Super Eagles defender, Shehu Abdullahi has expressed delight with the release of kidnapped Enyimba FC star, Dayo Ojo and Comet’s player Benjamin Iluyomade on Thursday.
Recall that Ojo was kidnapped alongside Iluyomade by an unknown Gunmen on Sunday along the Benin-Owo expressway as they are returning to Akure following the suspension of the Nigeria Professional Football League amid concerns over the global pandemic, Covid-19.
Abdullahi via his official twitter handle stated that he's excited that the duo have regained freedom from their captive.
“I’m excited to read about Dayo Ojo regaining his freedom. God will continue to keep all NPFL players safe.” He said in a tweet.
