Prediction 1: Nigeria or draw
Although we've established that Canada won two of four previous clashes between these teams, it's fair to note that those wins came in friendly matches. The reality is, these teams met just once in a competitive match, and Nigeria won that game.
Furthermore, it's noteworthy that both teams are on opposite sides in terms of recent form. On one hand, Canada have struggled to find their footing lately; they are coming off back-to-back losses, and have lost four of their last five games. In contrast, the Super Falcons are currently on a three-match winning streak. Despite being the overwhelming favourites, we don't think the Canadians will win this match.
Prediction 2: Both teams to score
