Thiago Alcantara was the recipient of a horror tackle from Richarlison during the final minutes of Saturday's highly entertaining 2-2 draw between Liverpool and Everton.
Jurgen Klopp has now provided a worrying injury update on his central midfielder.
Understandably, the Spanish midfielder came off much worse from the tackle, and Klopp has admitted that he may have picked up an injury from the horror challenge.
“Our goals were brilliant,” he said. “I leave the pitch and Thiago tells me he thinks he was injured from Richarlison.
“In the dressing room, others with the laptop watch the situation back and we don't understand it.”
Klopp told BT Sport of Thiago’s situation: “Difficult, difficult at the moment because the red card for Richarlison, it's not only a red card for Everton it's a massive foul on Thiago as well.
“Thiago has a proper knock there, he has ice now, we don't know what he has, it looks not good, to be honest.”

Thiago wasn't the only Liverpool player to suffer an injury scare, with Virgil van Dijk also having to leave the pitch in the first-half following a collision with Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
