Having completed his switch from Ligue 1 side Lille to Italian giants Napoli, Victor Osimhen has started settling to new life in Italy as reports say he is already shopping for an apartment in Naples.
Napoli completed the transfer agreement for the youngster for fee plus an array of potential bonuses that takes the deal up to €50million (about N23billion).
Lille and Napoli, signed the final relevant documents on Friday, July 24 with the Nigerian striker having already passed a medical with the Serie A club in Rome a week earlier.
The 21-year-old will now stay in Naples until 2025 and have an option to further the deal for another one year and this comes at a time when Napoli star Dries Mertens also offered to help Osimhen settle at the club.
“I want to help the team and the young players, that’s my future,” Dries Mertens said. “I want to help Osimhen and (Andrea) Petagna (another new signing), we can play together.
“It’s difficult to come from another country and settle in, we must help them fit in here.”
