Chelsea dominate TOTS
And Chelsea’s triumph has since been reflected in UEFA’s choice for the competition’s Squad of the Year.
The 18-man panel, picked by ‘Technical Observers’, features a massive 8 Blues’ stars, including the likes of top-scorer Olivier Giroud, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Eden Hazard and David Luiz.
Arsenal trio Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Laurent Koscielny and Sead Kolasinac are also selected, while Eintracht Frankfurt’s impressive run to the Europa League’s semi-finals sees 5 of Adi Hütter’s squad, including in-demand hitman Luka Jovic, added.
Rounding out the UEFA Europa League squad are Benfica duo Alex Grimaldo and Joao Felix.
