Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has often grabbed the headlines for positive reasons over the last 12 months and was recently named African Footballer of the Year by CAF.
However, he had a day to forget in Napoli's Serie A clash against AS Roma where Osimhen got himself sent off.
Osimhen received his first caution of the game in the 73rd minute for a clumsy foul and the Nigerian received his marching orders four minutes from the end of normal time for a cynical challenge on Stephan El Shaarawy.

That capped off a frustrating game for Osimhen as he struggled to make an impact at the top end of the pitch for his side, registering no effort on target and a meagre xG tally of 0.05.
Osimhen's disappointing outing unsurprisingly ended in a 2-0 defeat for Napoli as goals from Lorenzo Pellegrini and Romelu Lukaku put Napoli to the sword in the Italian capital.
Less than halfway into their title defence, Walter Mazzarri's men have now fallen a whopping 17 points behind Inter Milan at the top of the Serie A table.
The sending-off at Stadio Olimpico was just Osimhen's third of his senior career and as the 24-year-old prepares to sit out Napoli's final clash of the year against Monza on Friday, we take a look at his disciplinary record over the years.
