Victor Osimhen Voted LOSC Player Of The Season

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has been handed yet another individual award as Lille ’s Player of the Season.

Ligue 1 side made the announcement on their official Twitter account.

The young Nigeria forward joined the Great Danes last summer for €12 million after excelling at Royal Charleroi in the Belgium Jupiler League.

Moving to France has been a blessing to the 21-year-old and a silencer to his critics who saw the Super Eagles number nine as a one-season wonder.

Osimhen netted 18 times and recorded six assists in 31 appearances across all competitions for Les Dogues before the season in France was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Following his brilliant performances, the prolific forward was recently named, alongside Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr, in Ligue 1’s Team of the Season.
