Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman could be on his way to the Italian Serie A this coming season as Atalanta have shown an interest in his signature.
It has been a couple of topsy-turvy few seasons for the Super Eagles star and has not been able to have a permanent home and it looks as if Bergamo could be his new home.
Since leaving Everton, the Nigerian international who initially spent some time at RB Leipzig on loan before making the move permanent in 2019, has been to Fulham and recently was at Leicester City on loan last term where he scored 8 goals and 5 assists in 42 games across all competitions.
According to Sky Italia, Atalanta are looking to sign the former Everton player and have expressed keen interest.
Despite his performances for them last season, Leicester opted not to sanction a permanent move to the King Power Stadium and with his place at RB Leipzig not guaranteed, the Italian side could be a preferred destination for him.
The winger will hope to make a decision on his future in the coming days as he hopes to find some stability having been sent out on loan at different Premier League Clubs.
The 24-year-old might also be thinking of a return to the Premier League and he needs to sort it out as he hits his peak years.
