All Arsenal’s Sell, Loan And Buy This Summer In Transfer Breakdown

Arsenal want a better campaign than they experienced this term and Mikel Arteta is preparing for his first full campaign as Gunners manager.

It is expected to be a busy summer of incomings and outgoings at the Emirates in the coming weeks – but who should Mikel Arteta sell, loan and buy between now and the October deadline?

Sell

Mesut Ozil

The most obvious outgoing at Arsenal this summer is surely Mesut Ozil – if the north London outfit can find a buyer.

The club's highest-earner doesn't feature in Arteta's plans and will scoop another £18m in wages should he stay until the end of his contract next summer.

Matteo Guendouzi

Another Arsenal outcast facing an uncertain future is Matteo Guendouzi.

The Frenchman has been in exile after starting a scuffle with Brighton's Neal Maupay after football restarted.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles

Cashing in on Ainsley Maitland-Niles could shore up some funds in the coming weeks.

The versatile wide man is rated at around £30m and impressed in the FA Cup final, leading to the likes of Tottenham and clubs in the Bundesliga.

Loan

Eddie Nketiah

Recalled from loan under Mikel Arteta in January, it could benefit to loan Eddie Nketiah out to a more suitable club this term.

The forward wasn't offered enough game time at Leeds but could really prosper with some strong minutes under his belt.

Emile Smith-Rowe

Another attacker who was loaned out this term was Emile Smith-Rowe.

The winger is highly thought of at Arsenal but he could benefit from another year of regular first-team minutes in the second tier.

Folarin Balogun

Arsenal actually look set to sell the 19-year-old this summer – but they may be better actually tying the youngster down to a new contract before loaning him out.

The Gunners want £8m for his services, with Brentford interest.

Buy

Gabriel Magalhaes

Arsenal could really do with the left-side centre-back to shore up their defence.

Available at a cracking price of only £27m this summer, the Gunners really need to pounce to ensure they don't let the 22-year-old join a European rival.

Philippe Coutinho

Arsenal need a top-class playmaker and may be able to bring one in, in the form of Philippe Coutinho.

The north London side also boast incredible relations with his agent Kia Joorabchian.

Joelson Fernandes

Arsenal were leading the race for Sporting wonderkid Joelson Fernandes.
