Arsenal reportedly want to swap three Barcelona players in exchange for strikers Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
The Catalan club recognize the need to add new players in this summer's transfer window, despite president Joan Laporta revealing that Barca are a staggering £1.15bn in debt.
Mikel Arteta, meanwhile, is considering freshening up his attack before the window shuts on August 31.
And the Gunners boss is willing to sell club captain Aubameyang, as well as Lacazette who has less than 12 months remaining on his contract.
Barcelona are interested in signing both forwards from the Gunners, according to Sport.
Ronald Koeman’s side will have funds to spend if they can offload striker Martin Braithwaite, midfielder Miralem Pjanic and defender Samuel Umtiti, who are all available for transfer.
However, the Gunners will only entertain an offer from the La Liga giants if they can recruit goalkeeper Neto, centre-back Clement Lenglet and playmaker Philippe Coutinho in exchange.
Meanwhile, Aubameyang and Lacazette were missing in action when Arsenal staged their opening Premier League game against Brentford last Friday which they lost 2-0.
