Arteta Adds Three New Players To Arsenal Europa League Squad

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has added three new players to their 25-man Europa League squad following the January transfer window.

The one individual who missed out is goalkeeper Alex Runarrson.

Arteta’s side made it out of Europa League Group B with no issues, winning all six of their six games against Molde, Rapid Vienna and Irish minnows Dundalk.

Tougher tests are in waiting for the Gunners, who take on Portuguese giants Benfica in the Round of 32, which takes place this month.

The Gunners travel to Lisbon for the away leg on February 18 before playing host to Benfica exactly one week later on the 25th.

Arsenal were knocked out of the same competition at the Round of 32 stage last season by Greek giants Olympiakos.

The players included in the squad are: Mat Ryan, Gabriel Martinelli and new loan signing from Real Madrid, Martin Odegaard.
