At Last! Arsenal’s New No. 10 Has Emerged?

Arsenal were uninspiring against Southampton, with Mikel Arteta’s side exiting the FA Cup courtesy of Gabriel Magalhaes’ own goal.

But the good news is Martin Odegaard’s move to the Emirates appears to be edging closer.

The Real Madrid star was excellent for La Liga side Real Sociedad last term, shining before football was brought to a halt as a result of the coronavirus crisis.

And the north London side are hopeful he can provide them with some much-needed creativity, especially with Mesut Ozil leaving for Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

Kike Marin, who has covered the story of the Norwegian’s imminent move to Arsenal for Spanish newspaper El Confidencial, has now teased Odegaard will wear the No 10 shirt for the Gunners, taking to Twitter with a mocked-up image showing the 22-year-old with the jersey on his back.

Arsenals New No. 101
