Barcelona’s Official Bid To Liverpool For Wijnaldum

Georginio Wijnaldum has entered the final year of his current Liverpool deal and despite having been so crucial to the Merseyside outfit’s recent success over the last few seasons, his long-term future has been cast into doubt.

Recent reports have even gone as far as to claim that the Reds have no plans to offer the Dutchman a new deal.

As well as an uncertain contract situation, Wijnaldum also appears to be attracting interest from a top European side.

Said club is Barcelona, with rumours of the Spanish outfit’s interest in Wijnaldum intensifying shortly after Ronald Koeman took the reins at the Camp Nou.

Now, this weekend, further updates concerning Barca’s reported interest in the midfielder have come to light.

First up, the Mirror reported late on Saturday evening that Jurgen Klopp’s side have set a price-tag for their soon to be out of contract star, claiming they have told Barca it will take £15m to land the Liverpool star.
