BetKing Shops in Nigeria: Contacts, Agents and Licence Status

Walk down almost any busy street in Lagos, Benin City or Port Harcourt and a BetKing sign is rarely far away. Finding an official list of those shops is another matter. We checked BetKing's own pages on Monday 12 October 2026, and this guide keeps only what the operator publishes.

Why the old shop list is gone

Earlier versions of this page carried a long directory of shops and phone numbers, gathered from map listings back in 2021. Many entries could not be verified. Some were not even betting shops. A cake shop, a watch store and a lingerie boutique had crept in.

We have removed the list.

BetKing's contact page, its About page and its agent pages do not publish a national shop locator or a list of agent addresses, so there is no official source against which a street address in Nnewi, Uyo or Gwagwalada could be confirmed today, and printing numbers that may now belong to someone else would help nobody. Need a shop near you? Ask BetKing's customer care through the channels below, or look for the operator's branding and the agent's details at the counter.

BetKing head office and Lagos office

Plenty of readers search for “BetKing office in Lagos” or “BetKing head office”. Here is the honest answer. None of the BetKing pages we checked on 12 October 2026 gives a street address for a head office or a Lagos office. That covers the contact page, the About page, the privacy notice and the agent pages.

The privacy notice does state the legal identity behind the brand. It names SV Gaming Ltd, “a company duly registered under the laws of Nigeria”, with registration number RC 1419108. The same company appears on the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority register.

Addresses for a “corporate office” in Ikeja still circulate on map apps and copycat websites. We could not match any of them to a BetKing publication.

BetKing customer care contacts

BetKing's contact page lists two call centre lines, 02018885464 and 02013307247. Both are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The customer service e-mail is [email protected], while press enquiries go to [email protected]. The operator is also active on X as @betkingng and @betkinghelp, and on Facebook and Instagram as betkingng.

One practical instruction from the page: “When sending us a message, please include your full name and your BetKing Username or Account ID.”

WhatsApp is less clear. The short summary BetKing attaches to its contact page still mentions the older line 01 277 7247 and a WhatsApp number, 0901 477 7247, but neither appears in the body of the page itself, which shows only the two call centre numbers above. Use the 0201 lines and the e-mail first.

And be wary of any “BetKing agent” on WhatsApp who contacts you first or asks for your password.

How to become a BetKing agent

BetKing calls its agents Kingmakers. Applications go through an online registration form on betking.com. The operator then runs a call validation and a physical inspection before approving a shop, and applicants can follow progress from the Help area of the site under “My Area” and “Tickets”, where an application moves through statuses such as Sent for Inspection, On Hold, Rejected or Approved.

The agent page sets out these minimum requirements for a shop:

  • a location in a busy area with space for at least two cashiers
  • at least three TVs and three laptops
  • at least two thermal printers
  • stable internet
  • a generator or other power supply

On cost, BetKing advertises a lowest starting capital of ₦25,000 and an equipment fee of ₦83,300. Commissions run “up to 30%”. Those are the operator's own figures, and the page adds that its guidelines are not a binding contract. Location matters too. BetKing says agent shops “should not be situated close to each other”, with approval depending on the area. Our walkthrough of BetKing agent registration covers the form step by step.

Licence: what the Lagos register says

Betting regulation in Nigeria changed on 22 November 2024, when the Supreme Court nullified the National Lottery Act 2005 and held that the National Assembly could legislate on lotteries only for the FCT, leaving the rest to the states. Operators now need state licences.

In Lagos, the LSLGA publishes a list of licensed operators. When we checked, the page had last been modified on 9 October 2026. It shows SV Gaming Limited, trading as BetKing, licensed for online sports betting and online casino from 25 October 2025 to 24 October 2026.

That is all the register says. It shows no renewal yet. It shows no lapse either, and it carries no separate entry for retail shops. We will update this page when the register changes, and our overview of registered lottery companies in Nigeria explains how the state system works.

Betting is for adults aged 18 and over only.

Stake only what you can afford to lose, and treat it as entertainment rather than income.
