Chelsea is desperate for a striker and has are prepared to make available a budget of €130m for Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku.
Furthermore, the Blues are willing to offer Timo Werner as part of the deal.
The Blues have tried and to get Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland, but the German club are asking for 175 million despite knowing that next summer they will lose him for 75 million (and Real already have an agreement for that).
So now Chelsea have tried alternative ways and through intermediaries announced a cash offer of 130 million to Inter for Lukaku, with the possibility of lowering the cash and also including Werner.
But the Nerazzurri are not interested in selling him and the player himself has no intention of leaving, that’s according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla.
