Chukwueze Targets 4th Cup Goal As Villarreal Visit Rayo Vallecano

Super Eagles youngster, Samuel Chukwueze will be looking forward to his 4th Copa del Rey goal when Villarreal visit Rayo Vallecano in a quarter-final fixture tonight (Wednesday).

The 20-year old scored his first goal of the year (which is his third Cup goal across two seasons) last Wednesday in the 3-0 victory over Girona in a Round of 16 Copa Del Rey clash with Chukwueze scoring Villarreal’s third goal in the 72nd minute.

The Nigerian star had scored two goals in three Copa Del Rey outings for Villarreal last season and already has one goal in two outings this season.

Meanwhile, Ramon Azeez, Chukwueze’s compatriot, will hopefully feature in his 4th Copa Del Rey game for Granada when they take on Badajoz today.

It would be Azeez’s 16th Cup games overall having previously made five appearances for Lugo across two seasons and seven outings for Almeria over three seasons.
