Edinson Cavani has reportedly completed the first part of his medical at Manchester United and is likely to join early this afternoon on a one-year contract, according to BBC Sport.
The Red Devils have reportedly agreed a two-year contract with the Uruguayan who is a free agent having left Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
The deal is likely to be officially announced later today (Monday).
It’s understood the Uruguayan striker will be paid £200,000-a-week or £10.4million-a-year.
And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side believe Cavani will be a boost to the development of their young strikers.
He spent seven years with PSG and managed 200 goals in 301 appearances to become their all-time top scorer.
