Dortmund Now Using Kai Havertz As A Tactic In Jadon Sancho To Man Utd Transfer

Manchester United are still determined to sign Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho in the summer transfer window.

Reports yesterday claimed personal terms and agent fees had been agreed moving a deal one step closer.

The Guardian claims that Kai Havertz joining Chelsea is now being used as a tactic as well.

The 20-year-old joined the Blues for a whopping £70m from Bayer Leverkusen.

With Chelsea willing to pay such a high price Dortmund have made it clear to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side they want the £108m they believe Sancho is worth.

The midfielder is keen on a return to the Premier League and may have to formally submit a transfer request to force a switch.

Sancho has no intention of going on strike though and if negotiations fail he will remain at Dortmund.

Meanwhile, Clinton Morrison believes Sancho will eventually make the move to Old Trafford.

Morrison told BBC Radio 5 Live Sport's Premier League Preview show: “I hope they get Jadon Sancho and I do believe that deal will happen, I actually do think Sancho will be a United player.”
