Paris Saint- Germain star Kylian Mbappe has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool as well as Real Madrid in recent months, but the France World Cup winner has made a demand from his French club.
The Frenchman has reportedly demanded a release clause be inserted in any new PSG contract he signs in case a top club comes calling.
Mbappe’s current contract with the newly-crowned Ligue 1 champions will not elapse until the summer of 2022, but PSG are looking to extend this.
The 21-year-old appears keen to sign fresh terms, rather than force through a move elsewhere.
But the Frenchman reportedly wants the ability to get out of his contract, should the right club want to snap him up.
Spanish publication AS claims Mbappe has Real Madrid and Liverpool in mind, and wants to provide the two clubs an opportunity to sign him, should any of them wish to.
The World Cup winner has kept mum as speculation has mounted, but recently spoke out on social media, seemingly playing down a transfer away.
