The sports director for K.R.C. Genk, Dimitri De Conde, has again spoken as it concerns the widely expected transfer of Super Eagles star Paul Onuachu.
De Conde agrees that there is very little chance the striker will be at the club beyond this summer.
Onuachu has a contract with Genk till 2024, but his 29 goals in the Belgian league are expected to earn him a lucrative move to a major league soon.
Here is what De Conde has said:
“As a technical director I would prefer to see him stay. That being said, this may be the time for him to leave,” he told La Derniere Heure.
“But it is a complex file, everything depends on the market.

“Hopefully we will find a solution together with him. But if there is a chance that he will stay, I will do everything I can.”
