Giroud’s Agent Meets Milan Directors Over £10m Chelsea Exit

Inter Milan have made a new step in their pursuit of Olivier Giroud by meeting his agent, according to reports.

The 33-year-old is looking for a January exit after falling out of favour under Frank Lampard.

Antonio Conte is looking to seal a £10million move and according to Sky Italy, Giroud's agent, Michael Manuello, was in Milan for talks today.

West Ham, Aston Villa and Newcastle are also tracking the Frenchman who has been told to find a new club by France boss Didier Deschamps.

The Chelsea unsettled striker is out of contract in the summer but is third in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and has featured in only six games for them this season.

It is understood the World Cup winner would prefer a move abroad than a Premier League relegation battle as he looks to keep his spot for Euro 2020.

Chelsea are looking for a new striker in January and club legend Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink wants Lampard to land Lyon hotshot  Moussa Dembele.

He said: “Chelsea need to make new signings because it is always good when you make a signing.

‘’It gives everybody new energy. Obviously Tammy Abraham is doing really well but he is the only one really who is doing really well.

“Batshuayi is not making a difference. Giroud, I think, he does not really fit in with their plans.
