5 – Ashley du Preez – R300 000 ($16,066)
Ashley du Preez joined Kaizer Chiefs from Stellenbosch in 2022. The 26-year-old striker made 22 appearances for the Amakhosi last season and scored six goals. In a poor start to the 2023/24 season, Du Preez has scored the only goal for Kaizer Chiefs this term.
The Kaizer Chiefs striker earns around R300 000 per month.
4 – Zitha Kwinika – R370,000 ($19,735)
Former Stellenbosch player Kwinika is the fourth highest-paid player at Kaizer Chiefs.
The 29-year-old defender joined the club in 2022.
He came through the ranks at Amakhosi. He gained promotion to the senior team in 2014.
Kwinika left for Chippa United and has sojourned at many clubs before returning to become one of the highest-earning Kaizer Chiefs players.

3 – Itumeleng Khune – R480,000 ($25,602)
Khune is a bundle of experience and has spent all his club career with Amakhosi.
Khune started as a striker when he arrived for trials at Chiefs in 1999, but assumed the gloves by chance after he experienced chest problems during a junior game and found himself becoming a ball boy.
The 36-year-old goalkeeper is the captain of Kaizer Chiefs and at one point, South Africa.
Khune has quick reflexes and was one of the top-rated goalkeepers in Africa in his prime.
Among the highest-paid Kaizer Chiefs players, he is third on the list.
2 – Khama Billiat – R830,000 ($45,338)
From CAPS United, Ajax Cape Town, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Kaizer Chiefs, Billiat has come a long way.
He joined Amakhosi in 2018 and has contributed immensely to the club. The 33-year-old Zimbabwean midfielder won the 2016 PSL Player of the Season Award.
He won many titles at Mamelodi Sundowns, including the CAF Champions League.
Billiat retired from international football in 2021.
1 – Keagan Dolly – R1.45 million ($77,613)
Keegan Lavendon Dolly is the highest-paid player at the Amakhosi. The former Mamelodi Sundowns player has come a long way. He is also the highest-paid player in the PSL.
The attacking midfielder has supreme technical ability and quick feet. The 30-year-old also has impressive dribbling skills.
He won the 2013/14 Young Player of the Season and is doubtful he will top his current earnings.
