Inter Milan have laughed at Barcelona’s opening offer for Lautaro Martinez, labelling the €15million offer ‘ridiculous’.
The departure of Luis Suarez means Ronald Koeman’s side want to sign another forwatd, with Martinez mooted as a potential target.
According to Marca, Barca have launched an opening offer for the Argentina international, although the deal is said to be ‘dead’ after an insulting first bid.
The player’s agents met up with representatives from the club with Jorge Mendes acting as an intermediary on any potential deal.
However, the report claims the bid lodged was deemed ridiculous, with Inter unwilling to even sit down and negotiate.
Martinez’s agents were also said to be dismayed with the offer, particularly after receiving big money for Semedo in the past week.
As well as sanctioning a number of exits already, Rafinha and Jean-Clair Tobido look set to leave after being omitted from their squad number list.
