Arsenal have been looking at the possibility of signing Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.
Having already sold Achraf Hakimi to PSG, Martinez is another valuable asset which the Italian side could use to balance the books and Arsenal are looking to take advantage of that.
Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Eddie Nketiah, Folarin Balogun and Gabriel Martinelli have all been used in the central striking position.
Due to this congestion, the Gunners were looking to include the French striker in the possible deal, seeing him move in the opposite direction.
However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport via Inter Magazine, the Nerazzurri have firmly turned down the proposal.
Arsenal may then need to move ahead with plans to sell off Lacazette elsewhere in addition to others such as Lucas Torreira, Granit Xhaka, Joe Willock and Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

There are others that could leave but are unlikely to garner the fee to help with a push for Martinez.
