Kano Pillars Suspend Interview For Shortlisted Coaches

Four times NPFL champions, Kano Pillars Football Club has suspended its interview scheduled for Wednesday for the six shortlisted candidates that applied for the club’s vacant coaching role.

This was contained in a statement released by the chairman of the club, Alhaji Surajo Shaaibu Yahaya Jambul, signed by the Media Officer of the club Rilwanu Idris Malikawa.

According to the statement, the board of the club suspended the interview after an emergency meeting today Monday (30/8/2021) at the club Secretariat – having announced a Wednesday, September 1, for the interview earlier on the same day.

The statement said the board had reviewed the limited time it gives to the invited coaches to attend the interview and noted that the new date and time would be announced in due course.

It said all the affected candidates have been communicated for the development and thanked them for their understanding.
