Kuwait SC Officially Unveil Mikel, Shirt Number Revealed

Super Eagles' former captain John Mikel Obi has been officially unveiled as a Kuwait Sporting Club (Kuwait SC) player.

The 34-year-old joined Kuwait SC on a one-year deal from Stoke City.

It was a surprise move as he had just signed a one-year contract extension with the Potters.

This will be the second time Mikel will be plating in Asia, having played for Chinese Super League club Tianjin Jinmen Tiger between 2017-2019.

After being unveiled, Mikel expressed his happiness, stating he hopes to win trophies at the club.

Mikel hopes to help the club win back the Kuwait Premier League title they lost to Al-Arabi SC last season.
